Privacy policy

1. Who we are

GameSetClip, the Mac app and this website, is published by Milica Labs, Bangkok, Thailand (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@gamesetclip.com. We are responsible for the personal data described below (the “data controller”), except your payment details, which Paddle handles under its own responsibility (see section 3).

2. The waitlist

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and, if you choose to tell us, the kind of camera you film with. We use your email only to write to you about the launch of GameSetClip, and the camera type only to decide which cameras to test first.

• Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by writing to us.
• Provider: our mailing list is hosted by Brevo (France), which acts on our behalf and under our instructions.
• How long we keep it: until you unsubscribe, and at the latest 12 months after the launch.

3. Purchases

Orders are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle collects your payment details and the information needed for invoicing and taxes, and handles them under its own privacy notice. We never see your card details.

Paddle shares with us what we need to deliver and support your licence: your name, email address, country, the product you bought and your licence key.

• Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and our legal obligations (accounting and tax).
• How long we keep it: while your licence is in use, then as long as accounting and tax rules require.

4. When you write to us

If you email us, we keep your message and our reply to help you and to follow up. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you, or our contract if you are a customer. How long: 2 years after our last exchange.

5. Visiting this website

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Its fonts and videos are served from the site itself, not by third parties.

Like every website, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the site against attacks. We don't use this data to identify you.

6. The GameSetClip app

The app analyses your videos on your Mac. Your videos, points, scores and the player names you type stay on your Mac: we don't receive them. The app has no account and no analytics.

The free version keeps a small counter on your Mac to know how many matches have been exported. It stays on your Mac.

The app never sends your videos or anything about your matches. If it connects to the internet, for example to activate your licence or check for updates, this policy will list exactly what it sends before that version is released.

7. Who we share data with

Only with the providers we need, and only for the purposes above: Brevo (waitlist emails), Paddle (orders and licences), Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting) and Cloudflare (forwarding of emails sent to hello@gamesetclip.com) and Google (the mailbox that receives them). We never sell or rent your data.

8. International transfers

We are based in Thailand, and some of our providers are in the European Union or the United States. When your data leaves the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the safeguards provided by law, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Union and the United Kingdom, or the PDPA in Thailand), you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to receive a copy of it, to restrict or object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us at hello@gamesetclip.com; we answer within one month.

You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in the country where you live (the CNIL in France) or, in Thailand, the Personal Data Protection Committee.

10. Children

The waitlist and purchases are for people aged 16 or over.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will tell waitlist members and customers by email.
